Default Finally found a DRL that is simple and works

So when I first bought my car I loved everything about it except those nasty goldish yellow DRL that they all came stock with. Like a lot of people I did the swap out of the high beams to LED DRL but hated that because, well, I need high beams. I did a little more searching and finally found what I needed. This was a simple set of 194 Wedge bulbs and maybe I'm the dumb one for not knowing about these but if anybody wants a simple swap of bulbs that makes a good white light that looks up to date this is what i got and so far I love it. You can probably use any wedge bulb but here is where I got mine, http://store.ijdmtoy.com/SMD-LED-Doo..._t10_sku11.htm anyways for anybody else looking to do this it was simple and easy.

The bulbs you changed are not your drl they are your city lights. The drl is the highbeam on 50% power. When you turn your low beams on, the drl turns off and the city lights turn on so the high beams can be ready to "high beam". Look at you car with the low beams off and you'll still see yellow.

ahh that makes sense. I don't have high beams at the moment. Actually putting them in monday. I was wondering why they don't run during the day. But hey i still like the way these bulbs look better than stock.

What color did you purchase? Xenon White or Warm White? With this post, you convinced me to buy some. I bought the Warm Whites which I'm hoping will match my OEM HID's

take out the city light wedge bulbs, drl and fog mod and call it a day. oh and if you have clear sidemarkers, i'd take the bulbs out as well. at least that's what i did to conserve my electricity bill (<~ joke). i thought it look better cause driving around with different shades of white looks fugly. seems like everybody is having a tough time trying to match their lows. some might be close but you can still tell the difference. just me two pennies.

I have the xenon white. They dont match perfectly but they are a lot better than that gold crap. Talk about not matching.....
