Default Hessitation, Acceleration, and Rough Idle...Need Help

I have a 2001 GS300 2JZ I have been having some acceleration and hesitation problems with. It's most noticeable at a stop sign or a rolling stop, I'll hit the gas to accelerate and there will be no response for a couple of seconds and then it will accelerate as expected. Lately though it has changed to a sluggish acceleration after the hesitated acceleration, and now I am experiencing a rough idle while in drive.

CEL came on indicating a random misfire.

I have taken it to the Lexus dealership twice and both times they have come up empty. Here is a list of what I have replaced...as of yet none has made an ounce of improvement. Your constructive comments are highly appreciated.

In order of repairs:
-Replaced Air Filter with K&N
-Cleaned MAF
-Replaced MAF
-Replaced Spark Plugs
-Replaced Plug Wires
-Replaced Throttle Body
-Replaced Fuel Filter and Strainer
-Replaced Fuel Pump

If you have any idea how to get my GS300 accelerating normal again I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,

I've had the same exact issues on my car. Took it to the shop and got new plugs, wires, and new coil packs and that solved my problem with acceleration and loss of power. Btw, my trouble code also was random misfire.

Okay I checked for a vacuum leak I couldn't find a disconnected or cracked hose anywhere. I went ahead and replaced the ignition coils since I already replaced the plugs and wires...still no improvements. Does anyone else have any other ideas what could be causing my hesitation and loss of power...this is driving my crazy and is unsafe driving.

Check the throttle body air hose, there's a plastic reservoir on the bottom side in between the air filter box and throttle body that tends to deteriorate. Sorry kind of hard to explain.

I intended to, but I didn't know where to find the OCV and my initial search was unsuccessful. I found a pretty good tutorial that I will try tonight. I will update everyone if this fixes my problem.

Okay I pulled the OCV and the filter, the filter looked clean, but I went ahead and cleaned it anyway since I had it how. Cleaned it with Throttle Body cleaner and compressed air.

No improvement yet..Now when you say check your OCV, are you referring to the filter or are you suggesting I replace the OCV?

Anymore suggestion would be appreciated

I have not checked the throttle position sensor, but I replaced the entire throttle body...so it had been replaced as part of that replacement.

Cleaning doesn't do anything if the solenoid is bad.

If I'm correct your gonna have to get an ohm meter and read the ohms on the ocv while its unplugged of course, if someone can chime in on what that reading should be between, I know my 400 has 2 ocv's , I'm not sure about the 300....
