Welcome to CL! I'd say get the suspension done first before you go buying wheels. Nobody has said it yet, but the GS, especially the older years (98-00), don't have the best suspension. I'd get your coils, replace your steering rack bushings, outer tie rods & LBJ's.. Just my 2 cents.

Welcome. I'd start with the maintenance items, then wheels, tires and suspension set-up. I vote 19s staggered, and those specs are exactly what I'm running. Good luck!

Btw, I might forgo the coilovers right now due to price and get some springs and inexpensive shocks. I might do coilovers later, but with a limited budget and so many mods I want to do....baby steps...lol
I was looking at used springs. The Eibach Pro only drop 1.0". Is that not going to be enough? I see EIbach has Sportline springs that lower it closer to 2.0". Or is there a better cheaper option that Eibach?
I saw several used sets of Eibachs on Craigslist for around $100 so was thinking about picking up something used and some decent but inexpensive shocks? Any recommendations there?

Here are a list of the DIY's Im going to get parts for and start working on. Can anyone chime in with recommendations on manufaturer/model that is best for these issues? I sincerely respect all of your advice and want to know what everyone is using for:
Oil and Oil Filter (previous owner used Castrol GTX 5W30)_
Air filter (no K&N as I hear they let more dirt/debri in the engine)
Sway bar and poly bushings
Poly steering rack bushings / Steering rack bushing replacement
Lower ball joints
Brake pads/rotors front
Transmission flush/filter
Power steering flush/filter
Transmission cooler
Change differential oil
Cabin air filter
Lighting (Dome, license plate, etc)
Wipers - Bosche Icon
Just a list of some fairly inexpensive mods/maintenance I plan to do. Im hoping to find out what is recommended and where you recommend to buy parts from.
Thanks to all in advance for any advice you can offer.

Welcome! I know I can say that many on here source their parts from the dealer, (Sewell Parts) or auto stores as long as they are oem. I use various suppliers, and started with maintenance just as you plan to. Good luck.

Ok, so I promised some pics of my new girl. Here she is...Got a nice canvas to work with here... it really is in immacculate condition for a car from 1999. I didnt even have to clean or detail it, very very clean. Its actually nicer and smother than my M45 was!

Does anybody have rubbing issues on the Tanabe DF210's? Im torn between those and the Eibach Pro Kit, but with my teenagers in the back seat at times Im concerned with going too low.
I like the larger drop , but dont want to worry about rubbing issues and dont want to modify the car to go lower (shave/pull fenders).
