Default This is really starting to **** me off.. Need help again. (Throttle Issues)

Alright, title states majority of the problems. My car fails to respond to throttle when I press down on the gas, not even limp mode. I've had this problem before and I replaced the WHOLE Throttle Body Assembly WITH the Throttle Motor, TPS & Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor... EVERYTHING has been replaced.

Car has been running good till this morning the damn car flipped out again. RPM shoots up right before 2k range CEL, VSC & VSC OFF lights come on and once again no throttle response.. At work right now but of course when I get home i'll be running OBD Scanner on it to see what the codes are, but i've replaced everything related to the throttle, so wtf could it be? Anyone have any ideas or encountered this?

EDIT: This problem ONLY occurs when I come to a stop or when I put the car in park.

clean the OCV to be safe even if thats not the culprit, it's still good to have it cleaned every 100K.

Same thing happened to me...it was sparatic and would come and go....

bad vvt solenoid. When it goes bad It advances and retards the timing at the wrong rpm range.

Runs great now. I took pics replacing, I will post a DIY if you would like.

Took about 5 min to change.

You need to bring it by sometime. Your throttle body just needs to be recalibrated. I know you kept switching around, every time it's messed with it needs to be reset. Also, if there is a vacuum leak it will cause the throttle body to close the throttle plate too far. This will cause the motor to exceed it's movement range and shut off.

Classic signs of vvt solenoid...i went through this on 2 different 2GS's

ALTHOUGH....after reading jeff's entire build threads last night he may know a bit more than i do regarding the 2gs

lol, ty....but that's only half true. i know quite a bit about the gs as a whole and the gs400/430 motor but when it comes to the gs300 motor. i have always been outgoing about saying i know NOTHING about it. im a smart guy and have enough mechanical capabilities i can figure things out but this motor is def not my forte. again ty though

BTW Daniel is a up and comer....he knows a lot, is willing to listen/learn, and best of all has a great local "teacher" if he needs help. sometimes frustration just gets ya, you know?
