Yea I know it doesnt go straight back in. I think I have it in right. I forgot to mark it when i took it off. Would the TPS sensor being not adjusted right cause it to shut off at idle?. Cause i tried loosening it and tightening it and starting it up again and still did the same. ( readjusted it to different positions).

From what I know (I could be wrong) it does make a difference if its adjusted that far off. If its off enough to throw an engine code you should disconnect the battery to clear the light before adjusting

APP sensor requires no calibration.
Here is a helpful link on how to test your APP sensor.

The ThrottlePositionSensor, on the other end of the throttle body is the part that requires calibration.

FrankT ....that is the clearest breakdown I have seen of the tb setup. WHERE IN THE WORLD DID IT COME FROM? I would be much appreciative for the site.

Ive noticed that once I start it up and try to step on the gas it shuts off right away completely. I was thinking the throttle control motor but i just put a brand new one on.
