I recently picked up the radio steering wheel controls off an 01 430 and would like to put it on in place of the phone controls on my 00 gs4 but Im wondering if anyone knows if it will work if I use one of those PAC things to go with my avicf700. Has anyone tried this before? If it wont work I'll be selling it and if it does I'll have a phone controller for sale

nope they wont work since you never had them factory. the PAC didnt work on my last setup either but i had a honestly funky setup operating through my OEM nav for my GS430 but im going to try the new controls made for my AVIC-Z140. if not i will probably just cover the hole or leave them since i have LED controls i made

if mine works i'll sell you this if its the right color or order one in the right color its a block off plate essentially from the GS300's but will work on the GS430's

bummer, I had a feeling it wouldnt work, shame I cant think of anything useful to even mod these things to use for, seems like a waste of space, especially this phone thing I have on there now. Im about to place a big order with Sewell so I may just get one of those block offs from them.
