I had the vinyl and tint laying around so I had an idea so I tried it. I don't think it looks bad, I had a few compliments and I had a few complaints but o well, I can always take it off

Default nightmare of a day

Battery light came on, went and had it tested, sure nuff it was bad. bought new battery but..................light is still on. Cleaned terminals/connectors(buying some new ones tomorrow) to see if that's the problem.

Bought fog lights and slid em in and made appointment to have my o2 sensor changed tomorrow.

Yesterday my hood wouldn't latch shut. Last night I am reading up on the wire from inside the car may be bad or sticking so today I went out and found where the wire was running and gave a few tugs back and forth and it shut snug. So to anyone having a problem with the hood, just reach under the latch and slide it back and forth and you're good.

next up, putting new struts on the front next week. ordering them tonight/tomorrow.

for some reason I am getting a slight bit of shake when I brake, not sure if its my rotors or not. can I get them resurfaced or turned is my question. I by no means am mechanically inclined.

if the battery light is on while the car is running, that means the alternator is weak/on it's way out... did they test your charging system when they tested the battery???

brake shake/shudder while high speed braking is due to warped rotors... if they haven't been cut before, you usually can have 1-2 cuts to even them up...

alt is on its way out. only a matter of time. I was just browsing the alt to buy. he says he will put it in for 75 bucks. funny thing is my check engine light went off today so I think I will hold off on the oxygen sensor and buy my struts with the alternator and those done now. The last month my gs has been putting me in the red with all the small repairs.

Didn't do anything to it, but did see a chance for a decent picture while at work. I can't wait until I can get the kit painted

Washed the GS, and also tried some new AMG wheels on the other car.

Got my sway bar links put on. MOOG brand. Everything new down there now. Upper control arms, lower ball joints, outer tie rods, and sway bar links. Car drives wonderfully now. Love having my baby up and running at tip top shape. Next will be the timing belt kit. And might need some exhaust work done. After that, I should be near 100%. Car only has 112,xxx miles on it. GODBLESS everyone. Have a great day.
