It's been SO long since I last looked at this forum, I had to create a new user account LOL !!!

After 6 years, I decided to put the Foose Speedsters back on with new rubber...245/35/20 on all corners this time.
Got around to replacing the alternator and power steering pump, and replaced the old faded inner tail lights.
Polished the factory headlights to remove minor oxidation to the HID's, and fixed a loose connection to the yellow OEM fogs.
Now, I just need to get my door ding fixed and a new weather strip and I'll be OK.

220K+ miles and this thing still runs like a champ

Bought ebay headlights to swap to my retrofit headlights. Have to reheat the lens, there's some condensation on the driver side.

Well this was last week. I wanted to teach myself how to plasti dip so I can do my car when I get a chance. I tried it on extra headlight bezels I had laying around. I've plasti dipped my wood trim interior pieces before but only with the chameleon spray.

3 coats of base gray dip. 3 coats of base red dip 2 coats of chameleon (came more intense with the second coat). Shows the shift color when light hits it.

Drove mine home from the office and back.

...and parked it, carefully. That's the nice thing about owning a car for a long time - you get to know it pretty well.

Test drove a 2010 IS250 thinking about trading in my 2002, but it just didn't feel as solid as the GS. Going to think it over

You have a GS4 or GS3? The IS250 is more like a GS3 in performance, so if you have a GS4 you might end up pretty disappointed in performance.

My daughters's boyfriend's parents just bought him a 2012 IS250 AWD for a college car (no, they aren't rich, but they won a fair amount at a casino and paid off the house and bought a LX470 cash and just have no payments on anything), he likes it, but noticed my car is a lot faster. Glad he doesn't care about the performance with my little girl in the car!

Drive an IS350 and that is closer on performance to a GS400/GS430. I just like the amazing smoothness of my "old" 239k mile 98 GS400.... Sooo quiet, sooo smooth. My wife's RX330 seems sooo noisy compared to it and almost rough under heavy power. I like my V8.....
