Default Tune up now my check engine and VSC lights are on?

So yesterday I did oil, filter, and spark plugs on my Gs400 everything went pretty much smooth execpt for when I removed the plastic intake housing the farthest vacuum line to the firewall snaped at the little neck peace instead of just vacuum line coming off..When looking at it closely I noticed that at some point it had all ready broke and was on there by some type of glue/silicon.I needed the car for today so I had no choice but to try and fix it temporally. So I fixed it with JB weld and a little plastic tube from the help section at advance auto parts.Came out decent but I had to put it all back together before the JB weld had time to dry because it was getting late and I had to have it for work today..It did sit overnight car was not turned on till this morning for work..Car rides and sounds good but now my check engine light and both of my VSC lights are on..Can it be that maybe that vacuum neck plastic piece I installed didnt seal right? ?? Would that cause the VSC light to turm on?? Thanks guys..

You need to pull the error codes from the ECU. When the CEL is on it will literally tell you what is wrong with itself. Most auto parts stores like Auto Zone will pull your codes for free if you don't have your own scanner.

Honestly I think those scanners that advance and auto zone have to cheak codes are a pos they dont really tell you much so I was just seeing if anyone has ever ran into the same problem or what not bc I kinda under stand the check engine light turning on if maybe the JB weld didnt seal completly causing me to have a vacuum leak but both of my VSC lights being on is what im mostly worried about..

even if the autozone scanners are pos, a code is better than guessing
even with a code there are tons of potential causes that you can check...your choice

A vacuum leak is not going to cause your CEL to come on. At least, not a leak that would be as small as what you're describing.

ECU has codes telling you what it thinks is wrong. Pull codes.

As for the scanners being a POS - I'm not sure how that's possible. It is a device that reads codes on the ECU and tells them to you. Not sure how that can be a POS. It's not like they only tell you half of the codes or something. I use a cheap $20 bluetooth OBD-II dongle and an Android app to pull my codes and it doesn't do it any differently than AutoZone does.

Possibly helpful info: My CEL and both VSC lights were on while I had a bad O2 sensor. But I'm sure all 3 lights come on for a variety of different issues.

Yea ima stop at the advance near me and see what code/s its has. What I ment by pos is that it doesn't realy tell you much I use to work for advance and we did it all the time for the customers but most of the time unless its like a o2 senior it wont really tell you much..

It will give you a place to start, at least. It could be as simple as you accidentally knocked an electrical connector loose. For example, if your EGR VSV came unplugged while changing the plugs your car would run perfectly fine but the emissions alerts would light your dash up like a Christmas tree.

If it's gone, don't worry about it. Just make sure you check that vacuum attachment and make sure it's still solid.

First of all, you are posting this in the wrong section and on an old thread. Start a new post in the LS forum.

You need to scan your car for what code is being set. Either buy or borrow a scanner or take it to someone that can scan your vehicle. Removing the battery and clearing the code will not prevent the code form popping back up if there is a fault somewhere.

Sounds like the VSC needs to recalibrate. With your foot on the brake, turn the key to on. Wait for the VSC light on the dash to go out. Start the car.
