Someone pinch me.

With as many slammed cars with aggressive wheels that we have around here, I'm surprised to see that nobody seems to get what I am talking about.

I will try to get a pic of where the top of the outer tire is rubbing on my car.

I wasn't talking about the lip. I rolled the inside of my wheel wells. Above the lip 2-3 inches above the lip. My tires was rubbing where the wheel well starts to curve inward. I rolled and pushed it out ward with the fender roller.

Yup, that's exactly what I am looking for. My tire rubs exactly at the place where the wheel well starts to curve inward. I guess I have to get my hands on a fender roller and roll that part to get rid of that curve.

i had 19x10 +23 for my rears...shaved my fender lip....and ran 245/30/19 in the rear....no issue.

I think you need to run 245s, or you need to find tires that are designed with tapered sidewalls.

Thanks guys, but I think the question has been answered.

All I need to do is roll that bulge on the inside of my wheel well just above the fender lip and the 265-35-19 should fit just fine.

I used the fender roller tool to roll that double rolled bulge. Everything looks great and it rolled just fine.

Simple fix. You need to adjust your dampening and go stiffer. Your getting too much travel with the wheel when hitting bumps. The lower you go the stiffer your suspension needs to be. Add in the fact that your running more meat in tire width then your actual wheel makes matter worse. If going with stiffer suspension isnt an option jack your car up remove the wheel and locate where its rubbing inside the fender well. Grab a hammer and proceed. I had to do this on my Y33.

I apologize for not looking at this thread earlier. I would have saved you a lot of comments and told you this from the start. I had the exact same problem before also and yeah I just had the shop roll in that bulge in the back and no more problems. It adds like 3 more inches of clearance when it's rolled down, lol.

Yes, it definitely adds a lot more clearance by rolling that bulge.

I haven't driven the car yet, but I opened up quite a bit of room back there.

I'm surprised this isn't covered more in the usual fender rolling/shaving threads as that bulge is a significant source of interference on very low cars.

When I got the car in the air yesterday, I would see clearly where the 90deg edge of the tire was kissing the edge of the bulge on big bumps. Eastwood fender roller and a BFH made short work of it.
