Looks like it was a blessing in disguise! Got a 1998 GS300 with 170k miles for $5,600. Overall decent but passenger door lock and trunk both do not work with the remote.

Looks like your back in the game. I was looking at salvage auctions and there was a gs300 with 405k miles on it. There was no damage, but the miles must have just been really high. It still looked in really good condition and the add said it ran. Most cars on the site had at least 250k miles
