Does anyone have instruction on how to mod radio to add aux input. I saw DIY that show 2000 GS300 and I opened 2001, it looks different. The tuner circuit is solder to the main board.

I am confused about this method. When playing a silence audio file in parallel with aux source (ipod, iphone, ect) are they shorting between CD audio output and aux souce output that may cause reliability issue of the players? Not sure if this is a good method or am I missing something. I saw someone posted a method by cutting 2 traces on he tunner board in 2000 GS300. I like this method but 2001 tunner board connection is different from 2000
