Default Has anyone tried a voltage stabilizer kit?

These voltage stabilizer kits are similar to the grounding kits on the market but somewhat different. There are claims according to some magazines (after dyno runs) and people that have it say things like, made headlights brighter, or the car shifts smoother and/or faster, or the car is more fuel efficient or even in some cases feel more peppy due to a stronger burn of the spark plugs.

Does anyone have any experience with these kits? I heard that people see a difference more (if any) in older vehicles. My car is a 2000 and has been around the block a few times so I was thinking of trying this thing out; is it worth the $100?

What do you all think?

Oh, and I have a friend with an '04 Maxima that swears his headlights are brighter and the shifting seems a little quicker

Rock- I got one about 5 years ago and I do remember that the car was a bit snappier. I remember that even my wife said she could feel a difference.

I would recommend.

I was given a Pivot Mega Raizin and I installed it in 2 cars, one was a Previa with fully built audio system, the other was my gs430. Didn't feel much with either cars, I think it drained my battery on my GS cuz once I was having a conversation in the car with my friend for only about 45 mins, the car was totally off, no ac no radio, key in off position but I just didn't pull it out. My battery was completely drained and would not even hold a charge after. I had to replace the battery.

so after that I just took it out. I might look into a grounding kit for my other car though, since people say lexus's have pretty good grounding.
