Heats on and cold are coming from passenger vent
I have 03 Lexus gs300 with 115k on it.When my heat is on and im getting cold air from the passenger side vent and the center vent closest to the passenger. I have read posts here and I figure that this issue is my servo motor.Several people have stated that noise came from the vents before they went out. I never recieved any noise from the vents. so do they normally go out with any warning? As far as a replacement how successful have people been replacing them with used servo motors?Right now its christmas time so thats where all the money is going,but i dont want my passengers to freeze to death

mine is doing the exact same thing but mine the driver side has cold air blowing i also did not hear any noise before this happend. would like to know also as its freezing these days!!

it was just weird how mine went out I blew a dome fuse (passenger side kick panel). and my battery went dead once I jumped it off it went out.I'm planning doing the dIy today to see which one it is then round up a replacement. As far as opening the servo up and fixing it would this work if the servo isn't working at all? I heard it will work is its still works but isn't functioning right??what kind of success have you guys had
