Better shot of the interior.

Waiting for a shipment of Ultra Suede from Keyston Brothers, decided to try out leftover suede fabric I had on an extra headliner I bought.*

Sunroof was hard to remove, took a while but figured out a way to get it out.

Picked up a set of visors from a local gs300 owner.

Here's a recent picture.

Testing out G35 rims and got ahold of a cheap TTE lip for the time being.

Dang man! I'm jealous! Yours is so fresh!!

How's that black stuff hold up? Might do some of this with the interior I leave in my car. Did you spray the decklid?

You did a lot of work in a short amount of time. Looks great! I'm not a fan of air susp, but you totally made your car look a full 180 from the first pic.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but what part is the decklid? Haha. Anything that was tan was pretty much sprayed or dyed. The visors I might just sew suede over them.

SEM paint is very durable. Prepping is key. Do not take shortcuts make sure parts are thoroughly cleaned. You can run your finger nails and it will not scratch off I even tried my keys. Of course to some extent. The only parts that need to be really sanded down is the door sills. Or that part next to it because it gets a lot of wear and year from shoes and slippers.

On a side note this is my third car using paint products to convert the interior. The other two I've done we're using Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint. It is almost the same, only difference is the color. The Landau Black with sem is PERFECT. I love the shade it looks very oem. Duplicolor on the other hand requires detailing if using the flat black which I recommend if you go that route. SEM doesn't need any detailing to bring out that shine.

Also with prepping, I usually use Tuff Stuff it's a product/carpet cleaner but it's great on plastic as well. It really cleans it well but I don't recommend if you're not painting because it dries out the plastic and looks like it removes protective coatings. You can find them at Walmart. In one of my pics of the door panel on the pool table it's a yellow and red can.

First off welcome to the club! Nice GS too! You've put in some serious work already, and I'm definitely going to suscribe to this build thread. Hey appreciate the tips you posted about paint and prep work for the interior...I love how we can all learn a thing or two from one another!

thx,

steve

Thanks man! The decklid I meant is the flat part behind the rear seats under the rear glass with the brake light.

I can't wait to paint her and put on wheels. As for a lip kit, I will be working on something custom
