so i test drove a
02 sc430 today, disappointed with how the sc handled and the power it put out. I thought it would feel more powerful then our gs but I was wrong. it felt slower and didn't have the nice kick our gs puts.out. I was interested in trading my gs but its not happening. I made my decision to pay.of my gs4 an keep it till it dies.

^^^The SC430 is AWESOME. Top Gear is ^@$%&%. Get some feedback from SC430 owners, they will tell you. Your being sarcastic, right?

That's an awesome ad!

No, I think it is one very ugly car

http://killerfrog.com/videos/top-gea...upe-65195.html

Just read what holder wrote "disappointed with how it handled" and in my opinion the gs400 stock is a big disappointment in handling so imagine how much the sc430 sucks

Ok comparing and econo car and one of the worse ones to a 60k car. I would take a miata, way more fun and I think it looks good. Only problem everyone will think you are gay. Ever drive a miata?
I see you actually have a miata, now that is a fun car

Just to add more fuel to the fire

I hated the car to death when it was first released but it has grown on to me. yes its not the fastest or best handling but it was never designed to be. and yes in stock form it looks like *** but if you drop it and put some decent wheels and maybe a kit, it has potential being an excellent comfortable daily driver, cruiser with the top up or down.

I was looking into sc3/4s before but I was never able to find one that was in worth buying condition. I wouldn't mind having a SC430 now as I see the design as pretty timeless with (minor modded of course).

and their value seems to hold quite well given how rare they are.

To each it's own. But to me it's an old mans car. I suppose with enough mods you can make it better

honestly I thought it thru an I'm staying with my gs4. what would of really won me.over is if the sc had some kind of sport shift either on the steering wheel or at least down at the shift ****. it being a sporty car I understand why handling wasn't so great but in my opinion it should be able to get up an run like the gs4 if not even more.

The miata is my Dad's .It has been by far better than any car he has owned. 70k miles and only problems were 2 alternators. The inline 4 engine works hard but get's it done! Still prefer the SC430 though.

Get off your high horse. The SC430 is a beautiful car with incredible body lines. They really shine with some wheels and a drop.

My brother bought an SC430 and after driving it I was inspired to look for a Lexus. I love my GS400 and will also mile it out if I possibly can.
