^^ is that combo a bit of over kill? I've just installed pure white hid bulbs in oem yellow fogs, and its pretty damn yellow already, its high lighter neon yellow before it heats up.
and so far no complaints, still getting used to the colour, cuz its my first set of yellow fogs. ive had 12000k, 4300k before on other cars.

Lexus Test Driver
I have yellow foggys on my GS430. They're the stock ones too. Just bought 2 brand new housings, clear, and 2 new stock OEM Lexus yellow bulbs. I do love that look. Bright blue lights up top, light yellowish in between and bright yellow at the bottom... YES I love it!

So the the 430 has HID ballasts for the fogs already? And all you need to do to convert to hid is get some 3000k bulbs? Can anyone confirm/clarify this please? I too love the yellow fog look but I would like my fogs to be a deeper yellow if possible. Right now I have stock fogs with the clear housing yellow bulb. GL op let us know what you go with.

hm.... Ive had pure white hids in the oem yellow capsules and I'm not really a fan of the colour too much. I mean I can drive with just fogs on at night but the colour doesn't look very nice with the oem hids. on.
It just looks very miss matched, super highlighter yellow fog lights with normal hids, and white bluish leds on all corner lights, and city lights.
