Default aftermarket wheels

I have a 2000 GS400 with factory 17" on it. I'm looking for a nice set of 19" wheels with deep dish, however i don't want to make any mods to my fenders to have them fit properly. Anybody know how wide I can go in the front and back without any rubbing issues?

My ideal size would be 19x11 in the back and 19x10 in the front, but i know the front will give me problems so i'm hoping 19x9.5 would do the job.

your thoughts and opinions would be much appreciated.

Being a local Vancouverite, I'll go easy on you because that's a super easy way to get flamed on here. Searching is your best friend here.

There is a dozen threads on here showing fitment to your question that has been asked an endless amount of times. The sizes you think are ideal require fender modes no matter what offset. You can only go as wide as 9" wide front and 10" rear without fender mods. So don't expect that super flush look without modding the fenders. Have a look at these threads and read them all and you'll be surprised how much you will learn.

Oh boy, you didn't even mention the term "offset" above. I recommend you research the term first, do several searches on this site to see what people are recommending/using, and come back here for more specific follow-up question, if necessary.

Damn Obama voters, always wanting redistribution of 2GS suspension knowledge without putting the work in first.

I'm quite familiar with the term "offset". Thanks for the help.

I just don't understand why we're suddenly talking about whether i'm canadian or you being a ****ing american?

My questions and concerns are car related.

Bro relax. If you hadn't noticed I'm from BC too. I was just correcting him when he called you an Obama voter. Which here in Canada we all love Obama
