this door lock DYI was a waste of money for me!

If I can do this at night by myself with a crappy spotlight 20 feet above me on the house, anyone can do this, what part are you stuck in?

Some ppl aren't into DIY stuff I guess.. Took me about 3 hours to do this on 2 gs's in the same day on 6 doors and it was my first time.. Pretty easy DIY and saves a crap load of money lol.

Here you go man, and it's a lot easier for you because your not opening up the actuator to replace the motor..

i had to take out the door handle to take out the actuator.

yea for the rear i had to remove the door handle as well... its a pain if you have big hands but luckily for me i have nicely sized hands that can fit into places.

if only i had chrome handles to replace the painted ones...

I'll try taking off the door handle next time. I assume two bolts?

IIRC, it is two. it helps a lot with taking out the motor. otherwise its nearly impossible especially if you have big hands

I did my rears without removing handles, and I have pretty big meat hooks. Just takes a bit of finesse.

ebay has the motor for like 2 dollars

so cheap i bought 4 just in case. mines been working 1 year + without any problems
