Door lock actuator install problem
Hello all, just joined the forum And reasd every actuator post. Basically my drivers door went so I went ahead and tried to replace it with the eBay motors. The probelm is when I split the case I totally butchered it and the spring behind the large gear messed up as well as the case won't seal well enough for the motor to not flex and fully torque the large gear.... My question is this, I have seen aftermarket actuators by standard inc part number dla219 but they are all for the rear doors. Are the actuators themselves the same on all the doors? I basically need the case or even guts, latch is fine. Any idea? I can how the latches are side specific but cant see how the actuators themselves should be different. Thanks.

Here's a pic from my for sale thread of all actuators from all 4 doors side by side:
The front actuators are on the left and the rear actuators are on the right. As you can see you'll need to get the door specific actuator. If all you're looking for are the guts I'm sure you can use either side, but I can't confirm that.
I hope that helps.
