Gapping spark plugs on 98 gs300
Hey guys i've looked throught sticky for spark plugs replacement on a 98 gs300 and didnt see anyone mention the gap for the ground on plugs. I know they come pregapped but i still would like to know the proper gap size for my own information. If anyone could pls post an anwser to this thread, i would apriciate much. Also do the plugs have to be double grounded? Or single ground is fine?? Thank you in advance to whom ever anwsers me

you should gap them to the specification that they came in. So it is more checking the gap rather then changing it.
Read this post related to "wasted spark" on the gs300:

It is not an initial or compatibility issue, only a longevity wear issue.
plenty of people put in the iridium single ground plugs and say their car works "great" and I'm sure there is little real-world difference since they are also the type who would swap out those plugs again prior to them getting worn out.

Thank you very much for anwsering me i was wondering if u do know the exact gap size for the plugs, because i've already installed them and the packages they were in are thrown out. I cant remember what the gaps were set to. Reason is why im asking is that i changed the plugs while putting new coil packs in my gs300 2 months ago. The car ran good and 2 days ago started missfiring again. I put in one of the best and expensive spark plugs into my engine ( they are platinum something.. ) - i dont remeber the part or serial number. Could the cause of the missfire be the fuel injectors too??
