Hey guys my car is in the body shop getting for paint and I noticed when I took off my stock door caps the chrome molding is actually a whole metal piece strip what do I do to get the chrome moldings on do I just put on the jp door caps and get the roll of the chrome molding trims at Autozone? Do I need to take anything off from the stock door caps to put on the jp ones? And what about the rubber trims that are attached on the bottom of all four doors mine are kind of ripped and just dangling do we need them anymore since were putting on the jp door caps? If I can get someone I can call and get these exactly answers. That would be great thanks
you can use either stock trim or aftermarket. up to you. no need for those rubbers on the bottom. the caps will need some modding to get em to fit and aligned. watch for the caps rubbing or hitting when the doors are opened. the legit jp kit comes with glue, if urs is legit, use the glue to stick it on also. luckily with mine, i had onl minor issues.

thanks man what about the rubber moldings on other two caps on the body you know that go over the side skirt on the end of the front doors and the rear like on the doors it self do i pull those off too? can you send me a pic of yours please a side view oh and about the bags i actually got 2 guys here locally talking about buying it so i well let you know if they end up flaking so the chrome trim on top of the door caps can i just install the door caps and go buy the chrome trims that they sell at autozone and stick it on top of the door cap how does it work?
i was gona buy the rep one from i forgot what his name on here but he said he sold it real/fake dont matter to me its fiberglass just as long as it was within my budget

My car is coming along slowly. I haven't showed my ride at a meet since last years WFTX, so nah that's not me. I won't be working on my engine until later next year probably. I'll probably make my first showing at WFTX this year in Austin. My partner and I will have a vendor booth for our up and coming shop and all, so i'll definitely be one of the cars showing for our crew along with an IS-F at our booth and all. No real rush to finish my car and show out really other than that reason. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't show until next year, LOL. I'm a perfectionist, so yeah.
