I cut my holes last night and have no clearance problem. I even left the top layer of metal in tact. The only way i could see someone having an issue is if they cut the hole in the wrong place, used too small of a hole saw bit, or are running a 17 or smaller wheel forcing the ball joint to have to travel higher then most since the majority of people are running 18's

you are right...especially when the roads are really bad...but then I thought of it this way...bend my wheels...or destroy my subframe and possibly poke a hole in my oil pan...or...slam the transmission on the ground...that would be a bigger repair lol..

i had it fix yesterday. I went to o-nex in city of industry they checked it out for me and when they saw what was wrong they hammered it really hard and thank god it's a lot better. it still hit but only when it's really deep but so far i didn't have a problem.

nope and nope.
I know what I am doing to my car. You can clearly see the balljoint of the UCA with .5" extra space. The issue is that it doesn't help much on stupid slammed cars. AEighty6 (Martin) can co-sign this... LOL!!!!!
