looks clean STR. About how long would you say u spent on each grit, time wise?
Def spent the most time with the 220 grit. I sanded until the caliper was scuffed enough to hold the paint. I used the 400 & 600 grit just to make sure they were completely smooth. My calipers were brand new so you might want to use a lower grit. I would start with 220 though. You can always go lower with the grit.
I would like to sand my LS calipers. What are the proper instructions to clean then sand before painting? They're black as Sheit right now. I've bought them from Aliga months ago and never did anything to them.
This was done using G2 caliper paint. I sanded the calipers down as much as I could, starting at a 180 grit working my way up to a 400-600 grit. Its all in the prep work.
