Default 3rd light LED now can't get warning signal off dash

I finally fixed the problem with my car being stuck in park. I guess I but the LED lights in backwards and blew out a fuse, but now I have the brake lights working and the car shifting again. Now I can't get the warning lights of the dash for the rear brakes even though they work. I guess the LED 3rd light is causing this. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? LED lights are more trouble than they are worth!!!!!!!!!!!!

no one has run into this? i recently replaced the 3rd brake light with an led unit and also have the dash warning light on. the led unit didn't come with anything else so i thought nothing else was necessary for the install.

so you replaced a regular bulb with an led and you have a light bulb warning out?

its pretty simply actually. the warning indicator works with resistance and load on the circuit.. if one of the bulbs is out, their is a break in the circuit. the led's usually dont use as much wattage/voltage and thus create a scenario in which it seems there is a break in the circuit. kinda like if you change any of your turn signal bulbs into an led bulb, it will blink super fast. the solution to that is to put in the emulators in line with the circuit.

so solution? if you want to keep the leds, take out your bulb warning indicator.

Use a single load resister and you'll be done. I recommend a ceramic one because they dont heat up like a metal one. You can find ceramic load resisters in the ricer section of any auto parts store, or just get them on ebay.

If you put LED's in your turn signals, you can purchase an LED blinker relay to take care of the fast blinking.
