Default How rare is cinnabar pearl color?

I have been looking for a gs400 or gs430. I recently found one and it is a 2000 gs400 cinnabar pearl with 130k miles. Its looks VERY clean inside and outside. I think has all options too. Naka and Navi with heated seats and Hid. It seems so worth it to me. Bone stock except kn intake. What do you guys think. Asking price is under 8k and didnt bargain down price yet. I think it would be a nice color car to do a drop and some rims. I hear cinnabar is kind of rare to find. Thanks

Not rare enough.

You should be able to haggle that color since it's one of the least sought after...

So I just talked to seller. Routine maintenance done at 100k timing belt, water pump, fluids. bargained to 7300 so far. I think I can make him budge to possibly 6.9 or 7k. I think its a ok price for a 00 gs4 that has been maintained and has all options with immaculate interior and exterior. If he budges some more I will be an official owner of a gs4

So 7k is basically the highest youd put out? Id figure the car would be worth more. Lol I gues the value of these cars are dropping. Best bang for the buck it seems to me.

Cinnabar is a rare color, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!! The price is right, especially for the condition (as you stated) and the miles. I'd say go for it!!! I would if I were in the market.

The price on 2GS has come down a lot, now that we're 2 gens old. Plus gas prices in general...

There are a couple locally here being offered for pretty darn cheap - around 5-6k, and there's no takers so far.

Given the options, I would say 7k is a fair price if the condition is as good as you say, and there's no other issues (salvage title or accidents, etc.) And when it comes to used cars, I always try to offer what I think is fair (I'm not the lowballing type.)

Check to see if the lower ball joints have been inspected/replaced recently. That's a $1200 bill that would be easy to throw into negotiations..

For the record, I like the Cinnabar colour a lot. Really stands out amongst all the gray/black cars out there. But hey, it's what YOU like, not what everyone else likes.

Yeah, It really is clean and he has the maintenance records. I do not know if he has done the lower ball joints yet. He is the second owner and the first was an elderly woman. He said only reason why he is selling is because its not ethical because he has a 80+ mile round trip to work everyday. I actually like the cinnabar color. I am supposed to be getting a call later tonight. I was going to offer 6.8k and hopefully we agree around 6.9 or 7k. Ill be happy.

It's a pearl paint claybar it, drop it and update the heads and tails and it will look brand new! I paid $7400 for my 98 with all the same options as you but 110K miles so 7k for your car is fair.
