yeah all of those steering control items usually have to be entirely replaced at some point.

Upper control arms, Sway bar bushings, Lower control arms OR the bushings, caster arms, Ball Joints, Inner and outer tie rods BTW I changed all of these parts minus the lower control arms and I get popping noise still.
and the remaining parts I haven't changed were deemed "good"

On another note, my steering feels kind of tight

Don't want to send you running and screaming in the other direction, but just some heads up.
Also what part of NY are you?

The Lex is a good whip though, we get to enjoy the telescopic steering wheel and nice leather interior. If you want to checkout my car locally, let me know.

If you bought the car to drive like a bmw -- sell it now. IF you bought it to look nice and you dont care about noises and fixing things endlessly (non motor wise) then you're in the right park.
yeah i was hoping that it will drive like a BMW but i guess not..smh getting my hands dirty is not a problem aslong it doesnt break down on me on the highway.. i just want to mod it tastefully & cruise control on a dailey basis

Welcome to CL. Just get your ball joints replaced with oem parts and you'll be good. No major worries with the GS.
