Default SPC front upper control arm

I was looking to buy this for my car, but I heard people have problem with them on lowered cars hitting the shock tower. when i looked at the picture the ball joints are long as hell. no wonder they give less room than factory. so i was thinking has anyone tried using other types of ball joints to replace them with those thick ones? i was looking around and i found these ball joints that may work with our cars.

or other ball joints from different car they offer.

Theres a simple fix for this. Do a little researching on it. Involves drilling holes and plugging with rubber grommets.
