99 GS400 Strut rods or Lower rear arms on the front suspension? Plz help me identify
Hello all CL members!
I recently checked my 99 GS400 front suspension parts and I found this arm that i believe connected to the lower ball joint and lower control arm call strut rod or lower rear control arm according to the L-Tuned diagram below( the arm is curves a ill bit and goes over the tie rod) diagram #8
http://www.trademotion.com/parts/199...agramCallOut=8
The rubber bushing of that arm is deteriating or cracking badly. I have searched CL but I couldn't find any posts or pictures regarding of those arms. Please help me if any members have any experience with these arms stating about.
If there is a DYI link for this arm please provide.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

So many typos, I havent the slightest clue what the question is LoL, but I'll try.
Also, dont forget to check out Sewell Lexus, register with your Club Lexus screen name and you get a fat hook up:
http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S400-1999.html
now, theres actually quite a few threads on this, its just a matter of doing a lot of cross-referencing to find the right terms to look up. Took me a bit to get this info. This is known as control arm no. 2, also known as the trailing arm or caster arm. I'm actually about to change mine. Instead of buying the whole arm (which btw there are a pair for sale in our classifieds):

Or your best bet, you can replace the bushings. Here are the bushings:

Heres the DIY:

Please let me know the level of difficulty after u replace them. Also, let me know if u are going to replace the hold arm or just he bushing.
It would help me a lot if u can provide information on what type of tools needed to complete that job..
Thanks in advance
