I just got a 02 GS430 with stock Navigation system. I love the car, always wanted one and finally got it. Being 11/12 yrs old it does have some issues and I wanted the members help with it.

Front Passenger Side Door Lock – It does not lock with the key only opens but you can manually lock or open it. Is it a common issue and an easy DIY fix?
Climate Control – It does not show the outside temp or the dual temp setting on the screen. The backlight for the switches don’t work on top of the screen also.
Steering Wheel Audio Control – Nothing works. Common Issue? Simple Fix?
Rear Speaker Blown – How do I replace it?

hi i have 2002 lexus gs 430 and my nav sistem ,radio and cd player not work ,i check the fuse all is right .can help me

1. Door issue, is the actuator. And yes are very commom on our cars.
2. Climate control, is your Servo Motor that go bad. And very commom as well.
3. Audio Control. Check your fuses maybe is that. Also check one that say cigarete on the driver side by the rest left feet fuse box.
4. Speakers, search the side or call the dealer. He told you the side of the speakers and you can buy the brand that fits your pocket and liking. I hope and this info help you.

The climate control work good but nav sistem,radio , cd player aND the interior light not working

Another reason why i opt out of getting a car with sat/nav, google maps is so much reliable and user friendly, and the intergrated radio/climate would be a bummer if failed.

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes, hopefully it works after.

The radio of my 02 lexus gs 430 not working only said audio off. I bougth other amplifer so is the same ,other radio too is the same ,audio off.help please.
