Had vibration once transmission was changed, but I found out what it was
Changed Transmission now I have slight vibration
2000 GS300. With the old transmission (A3040-LS) my car didn't vibrate with the replacement transmission (A340E) it vibrates. The oscillating vibration is happening when I drive anywhere from 40mph and up & when decelerating. Now when its in park or neutral and when I rev the motor it vibrates also. Changed motor mounts....Vibration came back!!!! Found out over the weekend that the crossmember for the transmission was preloading on the mount. I guess the A3040-LS trans & A340e has different mounting locations.
Does anyone knows what bracket/crossmember to use for transmission mount on this setup? GS300 with a SupraTT auto trans? Right now I'm using the same mounting bracket, I had to modify it to eliminate the vibration.
