Happens to mine too. I think after I changed my driver door actuator.

so the third b is unfunctional? never noticed that in the past, i havent touched my door actuators at all.

to make it more clear

1. walk up to a locked car
2. unlock twice (consecutively, so that all 4 doors unlock instead of the driver side only)

car then blinks twice (and couple seconds later blinks again)

Yup! If I unlock once, its normal. If i press the unlock twice to unlock the other doors, after the 2nd beep a few seconds later another beep goes off. Dont know why,

I have also been having issues.

- In the morning, the car does not unlock with the remote. I have to unlock by hand. This is early in the morning before the sun is up. Maybe because its colder outside?

- Sometimes when I look the door, I don't hear the beep until about 3 seconds later. It does lock instantly, but just takes a few seconds to actually beep.

This recently happens to me... Except I have an aftermarket alarm system.. I press the lock and it beeps twice, then 3 seconds later, it beeps again. Same with unlocking. I figured out what caused it, which was a blown fuse that enabled my radio, dash lights and foot lights. I don't know of you guy have that problem, but ya can probably check the fuses.. Hope it helps.

Damn, I get this same problem every time. I thought I might try changing the battery on the key to see if it helps

if you unlock it and do not open a door in like 10-20seconds it will lock it for anti-theft

I've noticed this also. Usually the first two beeps will be for all of the doors. And when it seems to make a third beep I've noticed is when one of the door locks won't open.

It is one of your actuators failing, and the car knows this so it tries to unlock all doors again. If you're hitting unlock only once (to unlock just driver door) and it only beeps once, it's not that one

Sit in the back of your car, lock it, then hit the unlock button twice and check the other 3 locks quickly. After 2-3 seconds it will try again if one of them didn't unlock.

Quick Reply: try this with your car
