Default Fuel sending unit

Whats up everyone!!
Well I finally ordered my GTE-vvt-i engine from Japan Direct Japanese up in Canada yesterday.
Getting it for $2800 with the following extra parts
1. Stock side mount IC and piping
2. Aristo drive shaft.
So those are two things taken care of right off the back to the start of the swap!!!
Ive done most of my research on what I will need to have before I start the swap so it can go as smooth as possible. "we shall see"
The only 3 things I need to get are,
1. The fuel return line
2. after market exhaust system
3. Fuel sending unit with the fuel return line.
The 1st two I can get no problem, Its the fuel sending unit im having problems finding.
My question is, for all of you that have done the swap and didnt have the aristo sending unit, what did you use? MKIV sending unit?? Are they the same? Any help would be fuggin awsome!
thank you

MKIV? You just use the stock sending unit. I suppose your generalizing and mean the pump hanger assembly.

You have a few options if you didn't get the aristo hanger. There is the SRT dual pump hanger, Sard JPK kit, or you can just modify the stock setup..

If your also upgrading pumps, a Walbro or DT is direct fit for the stock pump, and the Supra Denso takes some moding as it quite a bit larger.

I'm running the SRT Dual hanger, it's a great piece but is a bit pricey, and if you don't need 2 pumps I would just mod the stock hanger. The Sard JPK works great but cost almost as much as the SRT hanger so I would by that instead (it can still be used with just 1 pump).

I've used the stock hanger on swaps I did for other people that only needed 1 pump, all you do is remove the FPR, plug the baffle hole it comes out of, then use a bulkhead fitting to dump the return in and hook that feed to the tank siphon that the other side of the FPR was hooked to. Few dollars in parts and works fine.

Right on. I'm keeping the swap all stock with the JDM twins. Its my daily to work which is 140 miles around trip a day! So My goal here is to have the car feel and run as it was intended to be. Not N/A. I don't really push the car hard but it will be nice to know the power is there when I need it. Ill never understand why they made an NA version of the 2j....... Thank you for the useful info, I'm going to look into those options right now. I did find one on e-bay for the 2nd gen aristo but they want $300 for it.

Well I bit the bullet and bought am Aristo fuel pump and hanger assy on ebay from a guy in japan. Boom problem solved. I hope! Now I just need to see what everyone used for their fuel return line. I found the return line on my engine and it seems like I can run that no problem. The fuel "IN" line seems to have a fitting that screws out. Does anyone have any pics of the fuel line hook ups they used?

The fuel feed will connect to the rail the same way. You'll need to run a 5/16" return line from motor to the new aristo hanger.

Oh the gte has a fuel pressure damper on the block, that's what your seeing as the input. Most people ditch it and go straight to the rail with the feed.
