Default Tips on modding a grille?
I bought a jdm vertical grille, it's brand new,chrome, I have the stock Lexus logo that came out the middle of my oem grille, any tips on how I can place the oem Lexus logo in the middle of my jdm grille? Notch it out with a dremel and glue it? Then paint black? If any one wants to trade grilles, I would trade also for one with the Lexus logo in it..

Thomas, don't mind him, he's been making crazy threads on purpose... To be funny or something. But if u are serious OP. experiment it yourself and let us know how it goes lol

No I told u guys that was a joke before,Guess u didn't get what I said in those previous posts, my comments magically disappeared,those days are done...I might just try and mod it myself, not looking forward to this.. I'm gonna convert 3 grills in 1

I ordered it from dashzracing.com it said it was a jdm grille, unless they meant jdm "style"?

Not sure WTH your asking but i believe the difference in USDM and JDM is one has the toyota logo for the Aristo Vs the L logo for Lexus. they are both OEM and logos should be interchangeable, but it would defeat the purpose of buying a JDM grill which is where your losing me.

Unless you got your JDM grill from India.

Can i ask your age?

So you bought an OEM style grill with out an emblem and now you want to put the emblem back basically turning it into the one you replaced.

Why didn't you just DIY chrome it or buy a chrome OEM? If its the chrome you wanted

Its the same one thats on ebay but cheaper... i had to check

Op all jokes aside u could have done the chrome diy on the stock grill and got exactly what u r asking for... Now ur gonna gorilla glue a lexus L emblem on and if u buy a cheap L from ebay it will fade before it falls off

I know I'm an idiot I don't like the plain grill, don't feel like sending it back, no I have the oem Lexus logo I was gonna use..

U'll have to cut a hole in ur new grill and u cant seperate the L from its plastic base. Have u unscrewed it to see how its setup? Ur best bet is to do the chrome diy and sell the other before u do somethin crazy to it.
