Default 1998 gs300?

Hey everybody,

I'm currently looking at buying a 1998 GS300 off my coworker for $6500. The car has about 125k and is in immaculate condition (we've taken it to lunch a few times). It was passed down to him from his parents (they're a car family so I'm not worried about routine maintenance being neglected).

It will be my second car, the first one is a RR Sport (which as some of you might know can be a bit tempermental ), so I'd like one that is very reliable and cheap to run. Will the GS300 meet my needs?

The GS should meet your needs for sure... Has the timing belt been done?

GS300 is one of the best cars IMO ever made, there very reliable and can outlast most cars. main thing you want to check is ball joints and timing belt been changed
