JP's LED tail lights are made by Sonar. I have a set of the Sonar lights, I believe I have the first set of anyone here on the forum. I was kinda the guinea pig lol. Quality is good, no problems with that set after about 3-4 years now. Maybe their quality has gone downhill since then? But then again, the set I had back then cost me $420 or so.

Depo/Insurance's a really good option for those who want the clear tail look. I own a pair, and everybody else says they got good quality, especially for those who want the "thin" clear portion. If not the 01+ tails are the way to go for sure.

Paid $220 shipped for a brand new sonar set with resistors on ebay 3 years ago. Zero issues. JP $1200 is for drug dealers.

Sorry to hear. I purchased the same exact tail light from Option Racing back in 2009 or 2008. Because these tail lights do not come with a resistor, the LED panal is waiting to be burned out. I burned the passenger side one. I think there was a 3 month warranty. But I remember having a dispute with Option Racing and I was really mad. I purchased another set with a friend's account on ebay. As soon as I got the new ones, I took my broken ones and return it as a defect. At the end, no one is the winner because the 2nd set got burned out after 6 months of so.

Sorry to hear about this bro - let um dry up and then seal um up better since they aren't standing by the product.

+1 on the depo fleabay tails i got a set and LOVE them. I did the amber clear on my 98's and keep um as backup.

I think a good reseal will do the job for now
