all 98-05 gs have same ball joints issues (it more a maintinance than issues because you have to change them around 100,000 miles unless you lower your car than i will be more often?
i just had mine changed at 115,000 with one upper control arm so i hope that im good for next 100,000

i agree with you...i would choose the GS over the IS but personally (after owning my gs since 2007) i would choose a LS430/460 over my GS in a heartbeat. i have no kids so thats not the reason for me....i like a bigger bodied more luxurious sedan though

I like the LS430 also. That's if only i plan to run it stock.
