Default electrical issues

I have the following things not working

On instrument panel:
temperature gauge always is on cold
Leds that show shifter position do not light up (none of them)

Memory:

Memory buttons do not work nor do they beep when you set them

Power tilt and telescope exit feature:

Sometimes it works sometimes it does not (most of the time it does not work on entry but it does on exit and sometimes it works in reverse)

Intermittent door open light on dash when doors are closed

Intermittent dome light stays on when door closed (does not correlate with dash door open light)

some times the headlights do not go off after 30 sec delay (when all doors are locked)

Blower motor does not work (If I disconnect the white connector next to the blue relay on passenger side all the blower motor speeds work for a while then it seems the black relay click it off already changed the relay)

Side mirrors can not adjust with side mirror adjustment button (neither side)

I cleaned with contact spray all the connector on the drivers side fuse the passengers side fuse and the ones in the drivers side door (still have not done passenger side door)

I disconnected body control module number one (passenger side ) and cleaned and reconnected

My low fuel light blinks even when tank is full

My question:

Is this the Body control module issue or is it one of the modules in the doors or multiple modules or something else?

Car runs perfect

Does any body know what each body control module control?
What does the body control module behind the left (drivers side) fuse box control?
What does the body control module behind the right side (passenger side) fuse box control?
What does the module in the left (drivers side) door control?
what does the module on the right (passenger side) door control?

wow, I couldn't remember all those problems and write them on one post. what a headache!

first things first. you did check all of the fuses right?

It sounds like a loose wire somewhere touching the ground. I suspect somewhere on your driver side

no I cleaned every connector and checked every fuse and wire all as it should be. From reading posts its one of the body control modules. I need to know which one does what so I change the correct one. I think its the passenger side one but I am not sure. Someone with a shop manual should be able to tell me.

Here is another article. Which ECU?

Check Wiring
If you experience problems such as windows that do not roll down, side-view mirrors that do not move, or interior warning lights that signal an electrical problem, go to a Lexus dealership for repair service. In the event of a poorly replaced windshield, water can cause the electronic control unit (ECU) to malfunction. If this problem is ignored, all electrical components would eventually malfunction. Early diagnostic testing can save thousands of dollars on costly electrical repairs.

well it is not either of the Body control modules. If I remove either the efi relay or efi fuse in the engine compartment fuse box then everything works except the gauge (and of course the engine does not run). Some sort of short or Engine control module mentioned above article? I checked my Engine control module part number and it did not match the one they mention but my car is within the VIN number mentioned. Any ideas anyone?

Is the body ecu and the ECM linked and can they affect each others function?

I wrote down all my issues. Replacing the drivers side body control module seems to have fixed my park lock issue (solenoid that unlocks shift lever works)

Here are the issues when the fuel injection fuse is connected.

1. AC/Htr blower does not work
2. AC controls on the navi do not work (if I plug a manual ac control the controls work but the blower motor does not)
3. mirror adjustment controls do not work (either side)
4. PRNDL lights on the instrument panel do not light up
5. Temperature gauge always on cold (all is normal on the scan gauge)
6. fuel low light flashes
7. ECT light does not work
8. Snow light does not work
9. The lcd on the intrument panel does not show what gear you are in (in manual mode)
10. Outside temp does not show on nav (nav looks dim on climate setting) all other settings seem to work normal
11. Memory seat, column ect do not work. memory buttons do not beep when trying to set position
12. Cruise control works but light does not show on dash when activated
13. Door open light works most of the time but not always
14. No power at power outlet in center box (the extra power outlet, cigarrete one works fine)
15 power telescope mode intermittent, Almost always works on exit but rarely on entrance

After I remove the EFI fuse or relay

1,2,3,13,15 all work

the rest stay the same.

Since I already changed both body control modules could this be the ECM?

Somebody please help. I still think its a multiplexing problem

Well good news! It was the ECM. Absolutely everything works. One weird thing, I seem to have lost a tiny bit of power. Before changing the ECM my zero to 60 was between 5.8 to 6.2 seconds (I'm at 3800 feet altitude) I just checked my 0 to 60 and it was 6.8 seconds. I suspect my old ECM might be modified (maybe a performance chip?) which might have been the source of the failure. Of course it could be the test conditions but the seat of the pants seems less
Power also.
