Hello, I have a 2001 GS 300 Lexus and it is in need of a valve cover gasket job, I have searched some DIY post but am not sure what all parts are needed.

Mainly do I need to replace the spark plug gaskets?

Also whats the best place to get parts for this job? OEM are auto parts store.

Right now this is my list:

Valve cover gaskets
Plenum gasket
spark plugs - Also do you have to go with the iridium spark plugs.


Please any help will be useful

they sell kits with everything you need. I got mine from Rock auto for about $40 shipped for my 430. I went aftermarket FelPro, not sure how diff a gasket can be.

i mean... are the one for the supra same as for the GS??? if so what year supra can i use??
