Just wanted to know how hard it was to replace the valve cover gaskets on my GS400? Is this something i would want to take on or is it recommened to take it to a shop? Im moderate when it comes to how mechanically inclined i am.

cliff notes: Just remove watever is in your way when taking off the covers.

might as well do the spark plug gaskets too

honestly its pretty easy...get some beers and a buddy n knock it out in a couple hours on a saturday

right side is easy, left side is a PITA. not much room to work with and the wire harness runs on top making it even harder to get around. it is worth the headache though, its what cured my pesky oil leak.
