i have a fast- vibe, vibration (metalish sound) when i hit the gas pedal while i was stopped.
it only does this for a few seconds while im driving off and foes away at about 15-2000 RPM's
i dont just wanna take my dash apart and start digging.... i wonder if anyone has had this...
the car drives great. just the noise is anoying.
and im sure something is loose or rubbing too close to something?????

i have the same thing, if i hold the defrost ducts it goes away.....have yet to worry about trying to fix it. gonna probably try wedging something in there before i take the whole dash out.

i grabbeb the defrost panel by the windshield....... and nothing happened i think its something underneath that.....
one day ill take it apart.... i gotta stop drinking so i can work...

This may sound funny but I had the same problem, and it turned out being the postive post cover on the battery rattling on the hood. Just a thought!!
