Am I basically F'd if my nav unit goes out?
gs430 nav/ml - I am assuming that if my nav unit goes out because it houses all the hvac controls also that I'm totally screwed and end up ahving to buy a new unit?

yes, I mean if I lose the entire screen... I mean frankly I'd love to ditch it, put a non nav HVAC in there and still retain the ML amp - but so far all I've seen is people scrapping the ML too.

if your nav HU goes out.... i believe all you need is the standard HVAC control to get it working.
As for the HU, i'd replace it with aftermarket and scrapping the ML stuff.
