If you're talking about swapping in a gte motor, the motor itself and auto trans will be around 2500. Then you gotta add in labor for the swap misc and maintainance parts you will need. This will depend on where you go to.
If I remember correctly when I got my swap done it was around 4-5k for the swap + labor and parts.

buy a JDM front clip... it would work out cheaper that way. Someone on here is doing the same... You can get them for about 4-5k from canadian shops.

how long is a piece of string
what sort of power are you looking at auto/manual? single or twins? stock or BPU? Standard or aftermarket ecu? untill we know these you can be off by thousands.

Motor Trans and wires about $2000 + labor about $1000 + intercooler and custom install and tweeking about $1000 + $500 for misc stuff, about $4500 give or take.

A stock GTE swap will run you about $4-5K but if you want more like single T and all the other goodies than the price goes up. As for the transmission if your going to use the actual aristo auto-tranny then make sure you get the right parts for the drive shaft otherwise your car wont run properly or at all for that matter.
