Default Introduction

Hello,

I'm still new to the GS forums, as I picked up an SC400 last year. This is my recent addition.
1998 GS400 with 180k miles.

Replaced the lower ball joints, timing belt, water pump, caster arms and tie rod ends.
Still needs new struts but slowly getting there to where I want it to be.

Hope I can contribute to the community here, I'm big into wiring for Toyota's when it comes to engine swaps and diagnosing problems.

Hello Fuzzzz

It came with L tuned suspension and Daizen sway bars.
I'm likely going to end up in Cali for a period of time so looking at a K&N Intake and catback eventually just so I can stay within the CARB stuff.

I'm thinking of re-doing the seats with new leather and clean up the dings and dents but no other plans so far.

Thanks guys,

Yeah I think I lucked out, it was dealer Maintained from 97-2007. When I picked it up it had 177k on it, so I knew I had to do a timing belt soon. The old belt looked good but I have the piece of mind that it will last me another 90k. Its been a good community between the 2GS and the SC guys. Thanks for having me, hopefully I can contribute to the group.

Nice and clean I like it. I was looking for a GS430 but ended up with an 01 GS300. Oh well all in the same family. HaHa.
