I had all of the motors replaced in the actuators on my 2001 GS300.

Now, the keyless won't work, and I cannot unlock the driver's side door with the key. It would unlock at first but was very hard, and I had to turn the key to lock/unlock a couple of times before it would unlock the door. Now, nothing.

The locks all lock now when you put the car in gear and with the power lock switch.

The guy that replaced the motors for me could not get the keyless to work, and I did not realize the key would not unlock the door until later. I don't want to fool with him again to be honest.

Any ideas?

I have also tried to program the keyless myself and no luck.

I have searched and read extensively before making this post, but didn't find anything with my problems.

If I could just get the remote to work I wouldn't care about being able to manually unlock the driver's door with the key.

open the actuator on the driver door. I'm betting you broke/bent the 2 metal prongs that detect the "lock" position.

form we doing my own actuators the problems that can do being that of what i can think of is.
One he bent/broken the line that locks and unlocks, their is two lines one is for key and other is car.
Second it can be you need to reset the keyless system, it went something like.
Step 1 Get in Car Lock All 4 Doors.
Step 2 Put Key IN Turn to on right before starting the car.. do it like 3-5 times...
step 3 unlock, relock, in side the car.
Step 4 try it now with the keyless. remote.

if not he might has **** up the actuartor too. when putting it back in...
go to each door, and use the keyless and try to hear if the motor is like making any sounds. like is having a hard time pulling the lines.
