Stock HU and bypass factory amp?
I tried searching.. and i failed, found everything but what i want to do, lol.
ok.. so I want to keep the stock head unit for now.. and bypass the factory amp, or wire an aftermarket amp in line with everything.
I had it set it to where i just used the wires that were supposed to go to the stock sub wired into a crossover, which led to an amp, which led to a sub.
but.. I think i blew my amp doing this.. so if anyone has any info about that, thanks in advance, haha.
Yes I'm a noob, but I can wire a system together pretty easily, if i know what's what.
thanks in advance guys!

dont think you can as the amp powers the radio i believe, just get an amp module with the rca outputs and the wires to splice into a speaker line and run an amp off that to power another sub. splice that amplifier module into the factory sub wires, run your aftermarket amp wires for the new amp and and add your other sub, its pretty easy.
