Seeing how rare the L-Sportline bumper is and how you can pick up a OEM rear bumper any day on ebay I'd say do it...

lol...I traded or sold ALL of my great condition OEM body components at one time or another for used L-Sportline body components; and some of it was in bad condition when I got it. Got various parts piece by piece from various members, cleaned it up, fixed it up and re-sprayed. After years of trying to gather parts I finally got it complete; I have had the full kit for about 2 years now and get compliments everywhere!

I would do it in a heartbeat...especially that it has been discontinued for over 7 years!

it all depends on the price too. i gave up a chance to trade because of the asking price. the price the member was asking for was too high w/ trade and in the end wasnt worth it for my part. ive seen folks sell their used sportsline bumpers in new-fair condition for about 400-600 shipping about 100-120$. some folks are asking for that price in bad condition w/ a trade.

but the most important thing of all, how much do you really want it?? theres no price line if you really want something for your vehicle.

Sounds like I should hold on to my kit. It's a little beat up but nothing a body man can't fix.

How would a L-sportline rear bumper look with stock sideskirts and front bumper?

Would it aesthetically work? How about the exhaust tail pipes? any adjustment required?

you would be crazy NOT to trade as long as it doesnt need anything but to be repainted....mine cost me like 600-700 to fix and paint but it had some minor damage to it. it looks good now and im happy with it
