Default 18" or 19"?

I am planning to get new rims soon and just wondering what do you guys think would look better on a gs? 18" or 19" rims?

Its what you want, not what everyone else wants.

I would get 19's flows with the body better.

yea i know but i just want to know peoples reasons for why they choose 18 inch or 19 inch for example you said 19 cuz the flow with the body.. if you get 19's what kind of specs would you run on the rims for an aggressive look with a good drop but not too slammed.

ie : front - 19x8.5 5x114.3 35
rear - 19x9.5 5x114.3 25 ??? not sure if that is a good setup?

I choose 18 because of pot holes. 20" looks nicer but doesnt have much tires and besides with 18" and a nice drop the GS is sexy!!!

Here is the 18" thread seach for teh 20" thread:

18's if you like to be slammed
19's if you like to be slammed
20's if you like to ride around tucking rim

I ride on 19's

It depends on how low you want to go on it....I had 20s on mine and took them off and go 18s...has a cleaner look in my opinion.....but then again my GS isn't slammed

I got some 18's and they just look to small to me. The GS is such a big body car that I think I'm going 19" all around or 19"f/20"r combo soon.

Unless you are on air I think 20's look a big to large for the front.

And if the car isn't lowered any at all, then all aftermarket wheels of any size look terrible, and the entire car should just be left stock.

Just my personal opinions, not that they count.

I would go with 18", I have 18" on my car and trust me, it doesn't change the ride quality as if you had 19's or 20's. I live in Puerto Rico and the streets are ******, I had 20" on my gs and had to go back a few inches, in fact I wanted the OEM wheels but I settled for g35 wheels and they look awsome and the ride is great, no more vibrations or whatever, planning on a drop but don't know with these streets

I would go at least 9 and 10 in the back.

19, 18's feel too small to me.

But if it were 18, 19, or 20. I'd choose 20, fills up the gap around the fenders more.

18 ARE too small. I have 18's on mine and it looks like ****. Kinda like a lowrider but that might be because I have 35 series tires on mine. Still, go big or go home but then again, I'm not planning on lowering my car.
