Speaking of trimming the fenders. What's cheapest way to get that done? I read that a belt sander is best, but I really want to use a small cheap dremel or something. I don't need to keep piling tools up in my apartment.
Your gonna have to stretch tires and flare the fenders if you want it to look good
What are you talking about. A 10.5 +25 and up will only need a shave. Does not have to flare and if he did it wouldn't look good because it would be to weak of a wheel.
guys I have a 245/35 on a 20x10.5 +29. someone convince me not to use a grinder.........
i used a dremel to cut mine then followed it with the stone grinder to smooth out the edges. i used 10 disc to cut both sides. i took out out 5/8" of the fender. this is the end result:
(19x10.5 +18 with 245/35 dropped on Megam LP's)

thanks for the info. do you still rub? does you rim clear the fender?

Without rear passengers, there's no rubbing and fender clears the rim. But with passengers , it rubs just a little. I need to raise it just a littlle so it clears even with passengers.
