Cool CCFL Halo HIDs Anyone?

I've been going back and forth on these headlights... does anyone have them and if so what color light... I am looking at the 8000k with the chrome housing not the black housing and 8000k fog bulbs.

They are very bad quality. They break easily and the light output is terrible. I know this from first hand experience with a friends GS and about 1000 other times this thread has been posted it's the same responses. Just retrofit your headlights to some LS430 projectors or Q45 Gatling Lights. It'll cost a lot, but it'll be the best light upgrade you'll ever make.

This will not end well. Halos and Club Lexus are like oil and water.....

I would take everyone's advise/opinion/experience about the halos quality and longevity into consideration and then make your own call.

I have installed some eBay halo projectors on other vehicles for the projector alone - the halo was never connected so I can not attest to its quality myself but others can.

If you get them don't hook up the angle eyes they won't match up between the two headlights and not to mention the seal isn't that great on those so condensation condensation...condensation.

Maybe he meant Aftermarket HID's in the eBay housing VS. OEM HID

wow... that was like showing up to an AA meeting with a glass of Hennessey - point taken.

The Q45 gatling lights are actually what I'd rather have... i'll just stack for those

hey guys im new to the club and a first time GS400 owner. i was thinking about doing the halo swap but my GS came stock with HIDs and has the auto adjust function. are the halos compatible with my headlights? better yet after reading the posts it sounds like the halos are pieces of garbage. how much is the Q45 upgrade and are they compatible with the auto adjust function and does anyone have a reputable place to get them.
